I am a mother, a wife and a woman with a Ph.Dc. in Social Investigation. I also devote much of my time to philanthropy work, supporting causes that are close to my heart.
One of the most crucial moments of my life was the decision to enter the Mrs. Globe beauty pageant. I had never done something like that before in my life. It was a gratifying experience to love myself enough to feel secure about my virtues as a women that transcend the beauty one can see on the surface. For some, being 35 years old, with children and scars on their body would keep them from feeling worthy enough to say to the world, “This is who I am and I love myself”
My objective in entering a beauty pageant was to inspire other women who don’t think they themselves are beautiful. The standard of beauty that many women aspire to often causes frustration because it is mostly unrealistic. I am the first woman in the world to participate and finalize in an international beauty pageant with reconstructive scars from a car accident. I was named Second Runner Up in the Mrs. Globe Pageant this year, a pride for Latin America. I was also awarded the “Life Inspiration Award”.
I love to design clothing, all my official dresses at the Mrs. Globe Pageant where my design. My designs are stamps/imprints of my heart, making each one unique and special. I almost can’t describe them. I am self taught and everything starts with an inspiration. The sky’s the limit.
How it started? Ever since I was a young girl, I designed dresses for my Barbies. Moreover, I believe the human body is more than the sizes S, M and L dictate. We are bodies in constant motion/change. Clothing is only an accessory, like the cherry on top of your favorite dessert!
The Fashion Show in Amsterdam is a dream come true, to show my unique pieces to the world with 12 fashion designers, Sheguang - Hu, Roberto Dressia, Rachel kramer, Michael Chitoe, David Savage.
Designers from Mexico Malafacha, Trista, Mauro Babun, Pineda Covalin, Alexia Ulibarri, Alejandra de Coss, David Andrade, Carla Fernandez, Lidia Lavin, Chamuchic, Isabelle Mahnes.Designers from Mexico Malafacha, Trista, Mauro Babun, Pineda Covalin, Alexia Ulibarri, Alejandra de Coss, David Andrade, Carla Fernandez, Lidia Lavin, Chamuchic, Isabelle Mahnes.
I always strive to put into practice all that I have learned from my life experiences, creating value for myself and people like me, for inspiration, constant improvement and continual growth. We all have potential that can either be stopped by ourselves or developed to its fullest.
Self esteem is a strong force within each of us, it is confidence in our ability to think and to face the basic challenges in life. It is confidence in our right to be happy, a feeling of dignity, of deserving, having the right to assert our needs and to enjoy the fruits of our labor.
